Jabir b. Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying
Life grant is the heritage of one upon whom it is conferred.حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْحَارِثِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْحَارِثِ - حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهُ قَالَ " الْعُمْرَى مِيرَاثٌ لأَهْلِهَا " .
